A scientist by training, writing has always been her passion—a cherished escape where she brings life and love to the page. When she’s not crafting compelling narratives, Shani is an avid reader, drawing inspiration from diverse genres and voices. Her unique blend of scientific precision and creative imagination breathes depth and authenticity into her storytelling, captivating readers and leaving them eager for more.

At Bookfest Detroit she will be featuring her latest book “Code of Passion” as well as signing copies of her premier book, “The Only Place I Want to Be”.

All of Shani’s work is Detroit-based and feature dynamic and modern women, brooding strong men and an impossible chance at finding romance in a wild world.
