Gimmick Press

Gimmick Press is an independent micro publisher of pop culture inspired literature and art, founded by editors Josh Olsen and Katie MacDonald.

Josh Olsen is a librarian in Flint, Michigan and has written two collections of micro essays, Six Months (2011) and Such a Good Boy (2014). Katie MacDonald teaches art in Detroit, Michigan and is the layout editor and cover artist for Gimmick Press.
