The TARDIS has landed in Woodbridge!
Luckily, the chameleon circuit cloaking device on the TARDIS isn’t working, otherwise it would meld invisibly into the surrounding environment and we wouldn’t be able to see it.
Dan Zemke caused this TARDIS to magically materialize at 1944 West Warren Avenue in Detroit’s Woodbridge neighborhood. Dan built the 10-feet tall, one ton replica TARDIS at his fathers barn in Pinckney and moved it here.
TARDIS, of course, is the time-machine/spacecraft from Doctor Who, the British sci-fi show. In the series, TARDIS is shaped like an old British police telephone box.
The Detroit TARDIS contains a free community library inside. You open the two front doors to reveal shelves of books. If you visit TARDIS Detroit, remember to bring some *great books* to donate. Don’t just bring your old encyclopedia’s. Bring books that are special and significant.
